ARIAS Society Recruitment 2025 – Overview
Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society has released a recruitment notification for various contractual positions under the ADB-financed SWIFT Project. The vacancies include Hydrology Specialist, Gender Specialist, and Livelihood Coordinator positions across different locations in Assam.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Hydrology Specialist
Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Hydrology, Water Resources, Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in hydrological studies, preferably on wetland or watershed projects. Knowledge of hydrological modeling tools (e.g., SWAT, HEC-HMS).
2. Gender Specialist
Qualification: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
Experience: At least 5 years in gender mainstreaming with ADB, World Bank, or donor-funded projects. Strong communication skills and local language fluency required.
3. Livelihood Coordinator
Qualification: Master’s degree in Livelihoods, Agriculture, Rural Development, or Social Sciences.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in promoting livelihood interventions such as microfinance, skills training, or entrepreneurship. Experience in ADB/World Bank-funded projects preferred.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test and/or Personal Interview.

Contract Terms
Appointment will be purely contractual for 11 months, renewable based on performance.
The positions do not guarantee permanent employment.
