Assam Skill University (ASU), Mangaldai has released two recruitment notifications for Teaching and Non-Teaching positions. A total of 10 vacancies are available for Professor, Senior Instructor, Accountant, Assistant Director (Community Outreach & PR), and Assistant Programmer posts.

1. Professor

• Total Posts: 05

• Pay Scale: Academic Level 14

• Eligibility: As per UGC/AICTE norms for direct recruitment of Professors.

2. Senior Instructor (Contractual)

• Total Posts: 02

• Departments:

  • Mathematics & Statistics – 01

  • Communication & Soft Skill – 01

• Salary: ₹36,000/- (Consolidated)

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years

Educational Qualification:

For Mathematics & Statistics:

• Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in Mathematics/Mathematical Science/Statistics and 1 year of experience with software such as MATLAB, Python, R, SPSS, etc.,
  OR

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and 3 years of experience handling similar software.

• Ability to teach both Mathematics and Statistics to UG first-year students is essential.

For Communication & Soft Skill:

• Master’s Degree with 50% marks in ELT/English and 1 year experience in teaching English/Soft Skills,
  OR

• Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in ELT/English and 3 years of experience,
  OR

• MBA/Mass Communication with 50% marks and 1 year of relevant experience.

3. Accountant

• Total Posts: 01

• Pay Scale: ₹22,000–₹87,000 + GP ₹9,700 (PB-2)

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university/institution.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles in a reputed organization, PSU, or university.

• Certificate/Diploma (minimum 6 months) in Computer Applications with experience in Tally/ERP/accounting software.

4. Assistant Director (Community Outreach & PR) (Contractual)

• Total Posts: 01

• Salary: ₹75,000 – ₹1,00,000 (Consolidated)

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s Degree with consistently good academic record and minimum 3 years’ experience managing community outreach or PR activities in corporate, higher education, or skill development sectors.
  OR

• Graduate Degree with consistently good record and minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field.

5. Assistant Programmer (Contractual)

• Total Posts: 01

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 (Consolidated)

• Age Limit: Maximum 38 years

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in Computer Application/Computer Science/IT and 2 years’ experience handling servers, networks, or programming systems,
  OR

• B.E./B.Tech. with 50% marks and 3 years’ experience,
  OR

• B.Sc./BCA with 50% marks and 5 years’ experience in system administration or programming.
